With over seventeen clinical services staffed by board certified specialists, many of whom are not only nationally but also internationally renowned, the Veterinary Health Complex (VH) is on the cutting edge of veterinary medicine. Patients benefit from the combined expertise of multiple specialists utilizing a team approach to patient health care. Each year, over 30,000 patients are treated in the VH. The VH provides compassionate care, a state of the art specialty healthcare, and expert clinical instruction for 4th-year veterinary students from the
CVM, and ongoing investigation of innovative techniques and procedures to further advance the field of veterinary medicine. |

We are hiring for multiple positions in various disciplines of Client Services at the Vet School.
Primary duties of the Client Services Representative include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring excellent customer service to current and potential clients, as well as veterinarians referring to the Internal Medicine department.
- Checking in clients, creating medical records, making appointments, and processing deposits and payments.
- Working closely with internal and external clients as well as referring veterinarians to answer any questions or concerns.
- Taking detailed consult and referral information from referring veterinarians.
- Managing multiple incoming phone lines while multitasking and maintaining attention to detail.
- Building working relationships with departmental faculty and staff, as well as other Client Services Representatives.

Qualifications
Minimum Experience/Education |
High School Diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. |
Other Required Qualifications |
- Knowledge of MS Office products and/or Google Apps (or similar software), email, fax and copy machines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients, faculty, and staff in demanding situations.
- Ability to interpret TAC guidelines and client needs to determine emergency situations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple incoming phone lines while assisting in person clients.
- Emotional intelligence, ability to empathize, and mentally process difficult cases.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations.

- Previous client service experience in a veterinary or medical setting is preferred.
