About the Position and Job Qualifications

As a Training Officer, you will play a vital role in facilitating bank-wide and department-focused training. Through collaboration with our Training and Development Team and organizational leaders you will assist in developing training materials that correlate with the Bank's Vision and Mission Statements while remaining effective and reflect current Banking trends.

This is a Full-Time position. Usual days and hours are Monday through Friday with a schedule of 8:00AM to 4:30PM. Hours vary depending on business needs.

What you'll need to be our Training Officer:



  • Associate's Degree or equivalent educational experience
  • Three-plus years of banking experience
  • Three-plus years of Teller and Personal Banker experience
  • Extensive knowledge of various techniques to effectively teach adults
  • Advanced proficiency in all Microsoft applications (i.e. Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to learn and use various job-related software programs (ex: Canva)
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

What you'll do as a Training Officer:



  • Deliver in-person, hands-on classroom-style training for new and existing team members
  • Maintain accurate training curriculum and materials
  • Identify needs for additional, specialized, or adaptive instruction based on team member learning performance
  • Schedule and arrange trainings and ensure materials and reports are accurately prepared
