Production Supervisor

3rd Shift

Responsibilities:



  • Provide supervision for production employees on evening shift. Oversee and support maintenance staff on evening shift.
  • Maintain work schedules of employees to ensure proper coverage to meet customer and business demands
  • Lead and direct all aspects of Safety on shift
  • Plan, maintain and communicate production requirements while providing direction and guidance to employees to achieve planned objectives
  • Ensure that employees are properly trained and have the necessary resources to meet safety, quality and productivity standards and goals
  • Ensure adherence of all employeesto company and plant procedures
  • Provide day shift leaders with updates, communications and solutions for the upcoming day



Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated leadership in manufacturing can replace a degree.
  • The successful candidate will have the ability to lead,direct and develop employees to meet business objectives
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and persuasive skills are required
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Proficiency in the use of personal computers including MS-EXCEL and MS-WORD applications
  • Ability to proactively lead safety initiatives throughout the facility.
