Title: Accounting Clerk/Accounting Technician Duration: 06+ Months Contract Pay rate: $17.00/hr. on w2 Without benefits. Location: San Antonio, TX 78215 Shift timings: Mon - Fri (8.00 AM - 4.00 PM) BG/DT required: Yes Required Qualifications: Strong financial acumen and understanding of accounting principles Proficiency in using accounting software Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Knowledge of technical accounting standards and regulations. Role & Responsibilities: Support accounting operations by processing construction transactions and maintaining records. Maintain accounting records by verifying and processing invoices. Perform pay app account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Utilize construction accounting software (Project Mates) to record financial transactions, update payment information in the system and process and change orders. Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary financial information for reporting purposes. The employee may be required to perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Some postgraduate is preferred. Previous experience in construction accounting is preferred. Strong financial acumen and understanding of accounting principles. Proficiency in using construction accounting software. Experience in using Project Mates is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
