Fabricator/Truck Body Installer

Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Truck Shop Technician (Dump Body)

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc., your local Caterpillar dealership, is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our growing team of established and successful sales professionals.

Position Summary:

The primary function of this position will be to fabricate, weld and assemble dump truck bodies on a steady Monday through Friday daylight shift at the New Stanton facility.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Installing truck beds
• Fabricating truck beds
• Frame modifications and install designated parts to said job
• Welding, wiring, and installing of both hydraulic and airlines
• Installation of necessary parts to complete bed installations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications

• Mechanical Aptitude
• Welding, cutting torch and plasma cutter experience
• Basic electrical, chassis air systems and layout skills
• Fabrication experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and drawings
• Overhead crane rigging and a willingness to learn product repair procedures
• Welding certification is a plus
• Ability to confidently and safely weld, fabricate and assemble dump truck bodies on a variety of truck chassis
