Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive dental care, with a focus on children's oral health.
• Diagnose and develop treatment plans using advanced clinical and radiological techniques.
• Educate patients and parents about oral health, promoting healthy habits for children.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-focused environment.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and industry regulations.
• Coordinate referrals to dental specialists when needed to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

• A passion for pediatric dentistry and improving kids' oral health.
• DDS or DMD from an accredited program.
• A license (active or pending) issued by the state board of dental examiners.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a desire for ongoing professional growth.
• Excellent organizational skills and in-depth knowledge of dentistry.

A Typical Day in the Practice:

• Operative Care: Treat approximately 10 patients, performing procedures such as stainless steel crowns (SSCs), NuSmile anterior crowns, composite restorations, space maintainers, extractions, protective stabilization, and nitrous oxide administration.
• Emergency Visits: Handle emergency patient care when necessary.
• Hygiene Exams: Conduct around 25 hygiene exams daily.
• Team Collaboration: Mentor and work alongside dental externs, assistant externs, and other team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning.
