As a recruiter with Complete Mobile Dentistry, I am excited to present an opportunity for a part-time General Dentist with an established dental practice in Newton, KS. The practice is dedicated to serving patients of all ages and is known for its state-of-the-art facilities, innovative technology, and commitment to providing top-tier dental care.

About the Practice

The practice is thriving and growing, which has led to the need for another part-time dentist. The office offers a welcoming and professional environment where you will be able to provide a wide range of dental services, making it a "one-stop shop" for family dental care.


  • Patient Demographics: The practice serves a diverse patient base, consisting of 50% families, 30% elderly, and 20% children.
  • Comprehensive Services: The office provides a full spectrum of dental procedures, including endodontics, orthodontics, implants, oral surgery, and general dentistry. Most procedures are performed in-house, with minimal need for referrals.
  • Technology: The practice is equipped with the latest dental technology, including a digital scanner, CBCT 3D unit, air-powered high-speed handpieces, and digital radiography.
  • Patient Flow: Each provider typically sees an average of 25 patients per day, including hygiene checks and emergency exams.
  • Staffing: The team includes 1 full-time doctor, 2 full-time hygienists, 1 part-time hygienist, 3 dental assistants, 1 sterilization tech, 3 administrative staff members, and 1 office manager. The new provider will have 2 dedicated dental assistants, with plans to hire additional support as needed.

  • High Production and Collection Rate: The practice is highly productive, with a strong collection rate and impressive monthly collections.
  • Insurance and Payment: The office does not accept Medicaid but is in-network with multiple PPO plans, including BCBS, Delta Dental, Aetna, Cigna, Humana, and Guardian.
  • Patient Loyalty: Patients are loyal, committed to completing their treatment plans, and generally pay upfront, following the doctor's recommendations.
  • Collaboration and Support: The practice is part of a Spear Study Club, offering opportunities for mentorship, collaboration, and professional growth.


Office Hours


  • Schedule: 2 days per week, 6:50 AM - 3:30 PM

Qualifications


  • Education: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Must hold a valid state dental license and malpractice insurance.
  • Skills: Effective task delegation, strong communication abilities, and the ability to manage performance expectations proactively.
  • Compliance: Willingness to adhere to all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental and healthcare.
  • Experience: We welcome candidates with 2-5 years of experience or new graduates who are eager to learn and grow in their careers.
