FI has an established business serving U.S. Federal sector civilian agencies and commercial financial services companies that manage complex portfolios. Our work spans data and financial management, modeling and implementation, data analysis, independent validation, statistical analysis, risk management, program and portfolio management, and developing custom analytic and reporting tools.

The Role
Account Leaders play a critical role in FI's business growth, with responsibility for driving client success, people development, and revenue, and contributing to FI's strategy development. The role of an Account Leader, Commercial Sector is to identify, pursue, and win new business in a key client relationship with a large, industry-leading financial services company. Responsibilities include:
  • Grow FI's commercial business by finding, cultivating, and closing newopportunities.
  • Develop deep understanding of the client organization and business objectives.
  • Network across the client organization, engage, and build trusted relationships with key client leaders.
  • Collaborate effectively with FI subject matter experts to support sales meetings, to match FI solutions to client needs, and to inform development of new solutions.
  • Develop and execute a proactive account plan and conduct quarterly reviews of progress against plan.
  • Monitor consulting work being performed at the account, ensuring that excellent work is delivered on time, on budget, and on target.
  • Achieve revenue, growth, and performance goals.
  • Embody FI core values.
  • Support FI corporate-wide initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance or relevant quantitative or technical field.
  • 5+ years' experience selling management consulting services, custom technology solutions, and/or other complex offerings.
  • Excellent influencing and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and drive business growth.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in retail/consumer financial services.
  • Prior experience using data, modeling, analytics, and technology to drive solutions to business problems.
