This role involves a holistic approach to managing the entire system lifecycle, from conceptual design to implementation, testing, and client liaison, ensuring compliance with customer and government standards. Program Description: With a fresh, new 7-year contract, this program provides SETA (Systems Engineering Technical Advisor) & SE&I (Systems Engineering & Integration) services to an important Intelligence Community (IC) customer with a focus on critical, assured space communications and supporting IT infrastructure. The contract support is part of the customer core team focused on all aspects of the systems engineering life cycle beginning with conops development, where we work directly with users, potentially going into harm's way, who will be dependent on these communications systems. We then capture their requirements and work closely with developers to deliver these essential capabilities. We get involved with setting up and running tests to ensure these cutting-edge capabilities will meet the stringent requirements and then we support transition to operations. Once in operations, our teams work closely with the users to make sure critical operations are successful, providing important information to support critical decisions by policy makers. The program also supports client acquisition strategy, future technology development and modernization efforts. Specific Position Description: This is a multi-faceted position in Chantilly, VA that will focus on a range of systems engineering functions as well as Knowledge Management disciplines. The Systems Engineering aspect will support the client's acquisition of new special communications capabilities to enhance the mission.
