Program Manager/Facility Engineer Position Summary: The Program Manager will manage and oversee all aspects of the project(s) to which he/she is assigned. A successful candidate will identify and secure internal and external resources, interact with the client, manage schedules and budgets, ensure safe execution of field work, and deliver quality work product as defined by DAWSON, clients and regulatory agencies. This is a full-time onsite position located in Cincinnati, OH during government-required hours of (7am - 3pm). Responsibilities:
- Capable of developing O&M/Construction-based Task Order Estimates and Project Budgets; and meeting the specified performance standards as laid out in the Client Contract and DAWSON Proposal.
- Responsible for managing all technical aspects of the contract.
- Manages preventative and corrective maintenance schedules and project budgets.
- Ensures adherence to all safety and quality practices and procedures while supervising the performance of tasks.
- Coordinates and supervises assigned project staff and subcontractors.
- Promptly notifies Corporate Management of all potential contract changes or risk to the project or Task Orders.
- Prepares written reports and other documents necessary for the completion of specific projects.
- Cultivates and maintains the necessary contacts with clients and regulatory agency personnel.
- Continuously monitors risks to the project to determine necessary resources, funding, or schedule changes to mitigate challenges.
- Must be able to respond to emergencies within 1 hour of notification and be onsite within 4 hours.
- Regularly tour the EPA outbuildings and report O&M-related deficiencies for corrective maintenance
- Become proficient in the maintenance tracking software
- Ensure technical staff maintains proper certificates/licensure and safety trainings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline AND 5+ years' experience in Operations & Maintenance as a supervisor.
- Must be able to pass a thorough background check to gain badging access to federal buildings.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be able to review and edit reports and proposals
- Ability to delegate work and handle multiple projects
- Ability to proactively create, control, modify and manage budgets and schedules
- Ability to analyze and control project risks, both operationally and financially
- Proficient with standard Microsoft office tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing government contracts
- Experience managing projects $1 million or more in annual value
- Knowledge of FAR clauses
