Project Manager - Change Management

SUMMARY:

The Change Management Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing change initiatives across the organization. This role will ensure that projects meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. The focus will be on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles, and organizational structures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage while minimizing resistance.
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.
  • Provide coaching and training to managers and employees to support change management initiatives.
  • Develop a set of actionable and targeted change management plans, including communication plans, sponsor roadmaps, coaching plans, training plans, and resistance management plans.
  • Lead change management activities, ensuring projects meet their objectives and benefits are realized.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate change management activities into overall project plans.
  • Monitor and report on change progress, identifying and managing anticipated resistance.
  • Provide direct support and coaching to front-line managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions.
  • Identify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation tactics related to change initiatives.
  • Support and engage senior leaders, creating and managing measurement systems to track adoption, utilization, and proficiency of individual changes.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and engagement throughout the change process.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the effectiveness of change initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure that change management processes align with orga nizational standards and best practices.


Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in change management or related roles.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing change initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to lead and influence others.
  • Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci) is a plus.
