Base Pay Range: $80,100.00 - $136,200.00 Annually Primary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas-KLA KLA's total rewards package for employees may also include participation in performance incentive programs and eligibility for additional benefits identified below. Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

In this role you will be working with the support manufacturing teams by solving their high priority problems, complete the actions assigned to fulfill the request raised by Field Engineering teams by out of box quality issues and resolve manufacturing issues quickly to meet the target build cycle time is met.

Job Duties, but not limited to:

Provide manufacturing engineering support for stage system level challenges. As technical owner, you will lead issues on manufacturing tool builds and make sure the problems are resolved.

  • Improve tool build and quality by completing failure analysis of all issues seen internally and, in the field, EOL issues from our suppliers, and reliability concerns and improvement projects.
  • Engineering Change Orders and management of test data entry and test specifications into our quality database platform.
  • Interface closely with Design Engineering and act as a facilitator between Design and Manufacturing team by providing input in resolving current issues or to develop new products.
  • Establish test strategies or manufacturing capabilities and collaborate with all internal stakeholders with tooling design and first article qualification.
  • Monitor and system and subsystem performance through spec validation.
  • Handle critical issues across various functional groups to improve reliability, testing, failure analysis, design, and supplier issues.
  • Ensure MFG has all the tooling fixtures need to build the tool, if not develop new tooling/fixtures.
  • Monitor all the issues occurring in systems/subsystem level and hold Development engineering accountable to resolve the issue.
  • Support high priority field issues at customer site, travel if required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years or 5 years or relevant work experience.
  • Education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field of study is required.
  • Proven skills and fundamental knowledge (Mechanical and system integration) to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Presentation skills to present and discuss technical and project related material.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret sophisticated data.
  • An effective communicator able to share technical information with multi-functional groups and provide executive level reports to management and customers.
  • Results oriented and driven to excel. Agility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced program and respond quickly to field/internal issues.
  • Natural curiosity, inventiveness, and an interest in making things work better.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
