This employee oversees the daily operation of the Equipment Repair Department, ensuring compliance with operational policies and procedures in regards to all regulatory guidelines regarding repair of all medical equipment authorized department-level repair.
* Manages the Repair Department's parts program * Primary point of contact for Ventilator Program * Manage all aspects of the accountability, issue, and shipment of ventilators to meet branch requirements * Manage Preventative Maintenance Program for Ventilators and Apnea Monitors to ensure 100% accountability and compliance with the Safe Devices Act * Order and stock repair parts and other DME as needed for ongoing equipment repairs and inventory control * Maintain proper stock levels and warehousing practices * Review all invoices for Branch Sub-rental and Repair Department generated purchases prior to RLM approval * When possible exchange sub-rented equipment with company owned equipment | |
