Overview
DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking an IT Program Manager to join our team on an upcoming VA Enterprise Security Architecture (ESA) support contract. This role involves overseeing the implementation and maintenance of IT programs that enhance the security and performance of VA's enterprise systems, ensuring alignment with federal cybersecurity mandates and VA's mission.
Duties & Responsibilities
Lead the management of VA IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring project objectives are met within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Oversee the development and deployment of TIC 3.0, Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), mobile technologies, medical devices, and DevSecOps solutions.
- Collaborate with VA stakeholders, including OIT, to ensure IT programs align with VA policies and Executive Orders (e.g., EO 14028).
- Ensure compliance with government and industry cybersecurity standards, including NIST, CISA, and OMB directives.
- Manage cross-functional teams, providing clear communication on project progress, risks, and deliverables.
- Develop risk management strategies, including reference architectures and risk analysis, to proactively mitigate potential issues.
- Create and manage schedules, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior team members and VA personnel, fostering a collaborative and learning environment.
Qualifications
- Active or ability to obtain a Department of Veterans Affairs Public Trust clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in IT program management, preferably with a focus on federal or VA-related projects.
- Demonstrated experience with TIC 3.0, ZTA, mobile technology solutions, medical devices, and DevSecOps.
- Strong understanding of federal cybersecurity standards and guidelines, including NIST SP 800-53, 800-37, and 800-160.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with experience managing large, geographically dispersed teams.
- PMP or other relevant project management certification preferred.
