Overview

DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Senior Enterprise Security Analyst to join our team on an upcoming contract supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Enterprise Security Architecture (ESA) program. This role will focus on leveraging cybersecurity architecture expertise, managing security frameworks, and supporting VA's cybersecurity initiatives across a variety of platforms, including TIC 3.0, Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), mobile technologies, medical devices, and DevSecOps environments.



Duties & Responsibilities

    Develop and implement VA-specific cybersecurity strategies, ensuring alignment with the latest federal mandates such as Zero Trust, NIST, and OMB guidelines.
  • Perform risk analysis, develop mitigation strategies, and support the design of secure architectures for VA systems.
  • Contribute to security architecture development, including the integration of reference architectures, threat modeling, and security patterns.
  • Support VA's transition to TIC 3.0 and other network security measures, including drafting use cases, threat assessments, and architecture designs.
  • Collaborate on the implementation of security policies for mobile technologies, medical devices, and other emerging platforms, ensuring compliance with VA-specific standards.
  • Lead security assessments, network vulnerability testing, and cybersecurity risk analysis across VA systems.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship and training to VA security teams, ensuring best practices in cybersecurity are followed.


Qualifications

  • Active or ability to obtain a Department of Veterans Affairs Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in enterprise security architecture, risk analysis, and cybersecurity design patterns.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal cybersecurity standards and directives (e.g., NIST SP 800-53, OMB, CISA guidelines).
  • Demonstrated experience with Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), Trusted Internet Connections (TIC 3.0), DevSecOps, and emerging technologies like mobile security and medical device protection.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks, such as Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Information Assurance (IA).
  • Proficiency with security tools and processes, including SIEM, vulnerability assessment tools, and incident management frameworks.
  • Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, or similar) are highly preferred.
