Overview
DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst, Expert to join our team on an upcoming Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Enterprise Security Architecture (ESA) Support Program.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide advanced cybersecurity support and ensure compliance with federal mandates, including Executive Orders, CISA guidelines, and NIST standards.
- Develop, review, and maintain VA's cybersecurity architecture, including risk analysis, design patterns, and reference architectures.
- Apply TIC 3.0 principles to VA's network architecture and support the development of Zero Trust frameworks across VA systems.
- Work with VA's mobile ecosystem to securely integrate emerging technologies such as 5G, medical devices, and augmented reality (AR).
- Support DevSecOps initiatives by defining secure software development standards and ensuring compliance with security policies across the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure cybersecurity measures align with NIST SP 800-53, CISA guidance, and OMB directives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across VA to integrate cybersecurity best practices into IT initiatives and enhance system resilience.
- Assist in the development of cybersecurity policies, guidelines, and design patterns to ensure compliance with industry standards and VA's mission.
- Provide cybersecurity expertise in securing VA's healthcare services and research, with a focus on medical device security and compliance.
- Support the integration of AI-driven security solutions and predictive analytics into VA's cybersecurity architecture.
Qualifications
- Active or ability to obtain a Department of Veterans Affairs Public Trust clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information systems, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, including:
- In-depth knowledge of TIC 3.0, Zero Trust Architecture, and DevSecOps.
- Expertise in cybersecurity architecture development, risk analysis, and design patterns.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity policies, guidelines, and frameworks from NIST, CISA, and OMB.
- Experience with mobile security, medical devices, and healthcare IT systems.
- Proven track record in managing complex cybersecurity environments within federal agencies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
