DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides support throughout the Assembly department in meeting aggressive safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals, that meet or exceed customer expectations. Assists Team Lead/ML in training of new team members and follow-up of quality related issues. Back fill assembly jobs as needed.

• Provide support throughout the Assembly department area zones ensuring production meets or exceeds Electrolux standards in safety, cost, quality, and delivery (SCQD)
• Assists team leaders in training of new team members, change overs and follow-up of quality related issues.
• Maintain a proactive approach with problem solving to prevent accidents and quality issues.
• Follow and improve workstation job detail standards for assigned area.
• Follow process to log non-essential items utilizing Red Tag Log system.
• Maintain an organized and efficient work environment utilizing the EMS Principles.

QUALIFICATIONS AND BASIC SKILLS:

• Must be "Assessed and Standard Maintained" (3/4 boxes filled) in 4 (four) jobs in current zone
• Communicate clearly and concisely in English verbally and in writing.
• Able to read and write English.
• Able to work with insulation.
• Able to use air tools, hand tools necessary to perform position.
• Able to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
• Able to stand for the majority of the shift.
