Genesis10 is currently seeking a Transformation Analyst for a multi-year contract working remotely for a Property & Casualty insurance company based in Rolling Meadows, IL. 10-25% travel is required.

Our client has an immediate opening for an experienced P&C Underwriting Transformation Business Analyst. This position is responsible for creating solution recommendations, gaining alignment, and executing the implementation of the decision engaging multiple areas of the organization. This position works closely with all levels of the organization from c-suite to front line and within multiple areas of the organization including but not limited to: Operations, multiple underwriting business units, actuarial, product, IT, and Business Intelligence. Some of the key areas this role will be responsible for will be operational workflow for all Underwriting processes regardless of role as well as helping to execute key business strategies as it relates to people, process, technology, product, pricing, etc. In addition, this person will work closely with business and operations to understand current and determine the future state business process.

The ideal candidate will have at least four years of underwriting transformation experience as a business analyst.

Responsibilities:


  • Understands current state business processes and be able to analyze, recommend, and influence future state processes taking into consideration people, process, and technology.
  • Gracefully challenge the current way of thinking even when it isn't popular.
  • Train internal and external parties within person class sizes ~30 people and virtual class sizes 200+
  • Apply change management principles to successfully implement small to complex changes throughout the organization.
  • Work within a highly collaborative team environment.
  • Responsible for understanding of the end-to-end Underwriting process from clearance through subsequent transactions and renewals based on prior experience.
  • Responsible for defining and influencing key data points for metrics to help drive process and technical requirements as well as reporting / metrics during implementation and continuous improvement phases.
  • Responsible for understanding technical solutions as well as manual process solutions to be able to solve complex business problems.
  • Drives business process definition and documentation of Business Process Flows.
  • Works with the business to drive process improvement opportunities.
  • Provides superior customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Actively and collaboratively drives business engagement and group sessions.
  • Perform other tasks as needed.



Must Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's 4+ Years of P&C Underwriting experience required (preferably leading operations and/or acting in a business transformation consultant role) or equivalent experience.
  • Equivalent experience is defined as eight or more years.
  • Advanced knowledge of business problems and identifying solutions.
  • Proven ability to adjust to changes within business strategy and/or project approach often.
  • Proven strong analytical skills, especially with spreadsheets, SharePoint, MS PowerPoint presentations, word processing, and visual business process tools such as MS Visio.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates an aptitude to quickly learn business processes.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage details, and execute effective follow-through.
  • Proven advanced analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to display a continued commitment to expanding knowledge base through personal initiative and industry-sponsored courses/seminars.
  • Ability to continue education and stay up-to-date on technical developments.
  • Ability to perform effectively under tight timeframes with high standards, and bring about effective action through direction, example, and a collaborative team atmosphere.
  • To qualify, all applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require, now or in the future, VISA sponsorship for employment purposes.

  • Six Sigma/ Lean
  • Prosci Change Management
  • PMP



Pay rate: $65-75/hr W2, rates outside of this range can be considered based on experience
