Job Description

The Department of Psychological Sciences at the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) strives to create an environment where our faculty and students can thrive. We welcome applications for our non-tenure track faculty position at any academic rank (Assistant, Associate or Full) to serve as Director of Community Psychological Service, the on-site training clinic for our APA-Accredited Clinical Psychology doctoral program. To foster the knowledge and talent required to train students in clinical psychology, it is essential to have a variety of perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences at the table. Members of minority groups under-represented in academia are especially encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include training and clinical supervision of assessment and intervention across the lifespan, managing partnerships with community organizations, and clinic administration.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. The University will not sponsor applicants for this position for employment visas.

Qualifications

The successful candidate is required to have a Ph.D. in clinical or counseling psychology from an accredited program (either APA or PCSAS) and be license-eligible in Missouri.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary is competitive and commensurate with level of experience. In addition to the annual salary for this position additional income can be earned through participation in our professional practice plan.

Application Materials

Please include a cover letter, CV, and statement of teaching/supervision philosophy (Reference letters will be requested for finalists at a later date).

This position is eligible for University benefits. As part of your total compensation, the University offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental and vision plans, retirement, and educational fee discounts for all four UM System campuses.
