Job Description: Sign on Bonus for full-time positions available for eligible candidate who has not worked for Baptist Health or its affiliates in the preceding 12 months. All Cooks are responsible for following production sheets,/ menus and preparing foods according to standardized recipes. CDC Cook is Responsible for preparing food for child care according to state regulations. FNS Cooks are responsible for consulting with management on any menu changes. Responsible for proper portioning of foods according to recipes, diets, production sheets, and state regulations. Responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary and organized work area. Communicates and works appropriately with Executive Chef / Food Production supervisor and other department personnel. Uses knowledge of personal safety on the job including the use of a cutting glove, also uses knowledge of departmental food safety to include accurate temperature checks and infection control practices Follows hospital and departmental policies and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITY
Supervised by the Executive Chef and the Director of Food Services. Performance evaluations are conducted at the end of the three-month probationary period by the Executive Chef.
