Job Summary:

This is a great opportunity for a high performing individual to contribute and influence company results in a meaningful way. The Director of Program Finance drives the development, planning, forecasting, and analysis of financial performance on programs for a high-growth business that offers a flexible combination of innovative technologies that supports mission-critical applications. This role reports to the Processing Technologies Business Unit CFO and is a member of the Finance leadership team. The director advises on financial planning and analysis activities to identify risks and opportunities and to contribute to the achievement of the $405M business unit financial goals.

Job Responsibilities:



  • Prepares reports and presentations to advise management across functions on financial analysis, results, and recommendations. Implements financial processes and systems to maximize the quality of financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Manages, monitors, and ensures financial practices are conducted accurately and compliantly with regulations, laws, and standards.
  • Develops, directs plans and forecasts, and analyzes financial performance of programs.
  • Manage the performance of a team of experienced professionals through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional products and engagement, motivation, and development of a team.
  • Responsible for reporting documentation for Program Finance. Liaison for Program Management with FP&A and Accounting functions.
  • Makes recommendations for increased cash flow and cost performance on programs.
  • Conducts program financial analyses to forecast and evaluate financial plans. Collects data on revenues, costs, investments, cash flow, and profits.
  • Generates reports, and performs analysis of trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Collaborates with the Program Manager on financial baselines, performance measurement, and future forecasts.
  • Manage and develop the business unit leadership team through hands-on goal setting and timely performance feedback.
  • Responsible for setting the vision and standardizing policies and procedures for the Program Finance team.


Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in business/finance/accounting (preferred), or technical discipline; MBA a plus
  • Minimum 10 years leadership experience working in an Aerospace or Defense environment in program finance supporting a program management team.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Experience using COBRA


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with Oracle Projects.
  • Possess the ability to understand the requirements of their internal customers and provide useful, timely data to assist in the decision-making process.
  • Forward thinking and proactive, with the ability to anticipate the needs of Management.
  • Ability to maintain composure and a professional approach when dealing with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively (both writing and verbally) with other departments and customers, both internal and external.
  • Proven track record demonstrating leadership capabilities with diverse, high-performing, cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

This position is hybrid and the candidate should be in a commutable range to one of the following offices:



  • Hudson, NH or Andover, MA
  • Chantilly, VA
  • Phoenix, AZ
