Burner/Laborer

We are currently seeking a Burner/Laborer to work at our Jewett, TX location:

Schedule: Rotating Shifts, 2 weeks on days, 2 weeks on nights Day Shift 6:45am-3:30pm, Night Shift: 6:45pm - 3:30am

• This is an entry level position
• Will spend at least part of the work week performing jobs such as general cleanup as well as burning.

Job Requirements

• One year Previous experience using a torch to cut in an industrialized setting strongly preferred.
• This job entails using a five foot long torch to cut large unprocessed metal down too three foot pieces.
• Conscientious, safety oriented work habits
• Evidence of a steady work history
• A successful background check including professional references (former employers)
• To complete pre-employment job skills assessment (s)
• To pass a pre-employment physical including a drug and alcohol screen
• To work in a hot environment for long periods of time while wearing several layers of fire protective clothing and other Personal Protective Equipment "PPE" including hard hat, face shield and leather gloves.
• Reliable transportation to get to and from work
