The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary Columbia University's Wellness Center is home to Columbia's Community Health Worker (CHW) Training Institute called 'InTOuCH.' This program recruits trusted members of churches from New York City to complete an 8-week, certified CHW training curriculum. Graduates from the program, or its condensed TRIUMPH specific version are enlisted to support the TRIUMPH research team in increasing access to anxiety and depression screening among African American church and community members. Research-related training and certification is also provided to graduate candidates. The CHW will work directly with the Columbia Center for Community Health to conduct the Enhanced Usual Care or Screening Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment sessions with eligible participants. Responsibilities * Connect the TRIUMPH research team to church leadership and community organizations to plan screening events * Deliver the Enhanced Usual Care or SBIRT intervention sessions with eligible participants * Track and document the Enhanced Usual care or SBIRT intervention sessions * Provide evidence-based anxiety and depression resources and referrals to clinical providers * Report intervention session progress to program coordinator on a weekly basis * Participate in Key Informant Interviews and/or Focus Groups at end of study Minimum Qualifications
