Summary:

The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating multiple interrelated projects to ensure they align with organizational goals and deliver measurable outcomes. This role requires strategic thinking and the ability to manage complex programs, balance competing priorities, and lead cross-functional teams. The Program Manager ensures that all activities within the program are completed on time, within scope, and on budget, while consistently supporting the organization's strategic objectives.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Define program scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders. Develop comprehensive program plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
  • Oversee and guide multiple projects within the program, ensuring alignment with overall program goals. Coordinate with site leads, site managers, and project managers to ensure that individual projects meet key milestones
  • Engage with stakeholders to communicate program goals, progress, risks, and outcomes. Facilitate collaboration across departments and resolve conflicts or issues that may arise
  • Develop and manage the program budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial targets. Optimize resource allocation across projects to achieve overall program objectives
  • Identify and assess risks throughout the program lifecycle, proactively developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address potential challenges
  • Track program performance using appropriate tools and metrics. Provide regular status reports to senior leadership, including key insights on progress, risks, and recommendations for improvement
  • Lead change management efforts related to the program, ensuring the smooth implementation and adoption of new processes, systems, or technologies introduced through the program
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and quality standards across all program activities. Conduct regular reviews to confirm that projects are delivering the intended outcomes
  • Mentor and provide guidance to site leads, site managers, project managers, and other team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong initiative, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in project management tools

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of related experience in program or project management
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Ability to maintain a Secret security clearance
  • Must have a valid and current driver's license.
  • Computer skills to include use of Microsoft Office (Excel, WORD, Outlook) and Access.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business)
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus

The salary range for this position is $90,000.00 -120,000.00 annually.
