Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Work with IT and the Business to define and deliver solutions that meet business objectives Responsible for combining business and technology skills with strong leadership, communication, negotiation, facilitation, and presentation skills Serve as the ultimate facilitator between Business and IT in truly understanding the business's needs and plays a key role in the overall management and success of a project through the entire project lifecycle Lead the planning, eliciting, analyzing, validating and managing of requirements, business processes, high-level solution design, test case design, and implementation planning & support - in partnership with Project Managers, Business Stakeholders, and IT interfacing groups May also be called upon to fulfil some Scrum Master responsibilities of facilitating scrum ceremonies based on changing demands Requirements: Agile tools/ Jira Excellent analytical skills and at least 5 - 7 years of experience as a Technical Business analyst, working closely with business partners to elicit requirements, document process flows, identify risks and mitigation and participate in definition of strategies for the technical solution Experience in Agile methodology Previous success working in a dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities Ability to communicate and work with Developers to ensure that acceptance criteria for the user stories are understood and applied Ability to communicate and work with Testers to ensure that test plans and scripts satisfy the requirements Ability to analyze existing capabilities and identify gaps and opportunities Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and ability to facilitate discussions Self-motivated and requires minimal supervision Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills Pay Range: $46.18 - $54.18 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
