Registered Nurse - Pediatric CICU Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Full Time 81240BR Job Summary Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams. Carries out established nursing care for patients and performs related duties as required. Performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs, with assistance and supervision. Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role. For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range. Department Description The Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (PCICU) specializes in the care of children with complex congenital heart disease.
