Quality Lab Technician

The Quality Lab Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all products are designed, built, and produced in accordance with customer specifications and quality requirements. This position requires a high degree of freedom in decision making. The work schedule for this position will be Monday - Friday from 7am - 3:30pm. This position will support our Adsorbents & Additives Business Unit in Colton, CA.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, $ OHAS 18001 programs
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to manage all incoming non-conformance issue
• Participate in Management of Change activities that impact any quality control activities
• Maintain calibration program, including scheduling, documentation, and adherence of calibration records
• Participate in all audits of system management, internal and customer audits,
• Responsible for all incoming, in process and outgoing quality control to insure no production interruption

Requirements

• AssociatesDegree in a STEM field is preferred
• 3-5 yeas of manufacturing experience
• Lab Manufacturing experience is a plus
• Lean 6 Sigma, proficiency with Microsoft Office, & SAP experience preferred
• Independent time management is critical to ensure production is not negatively impacted
• The ability to react in a complex environment is required.
• Resources are limited, so ability to balance and prioritize conflicting objectives
• The ability to quickly learn the company's quality control system
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• In-depth understanding of technical documentation
• Time management and organization
• Attention to detail is critical to meet specification

Compensation:

• $67,000-$80,000
• Salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to individual competencies, education/professional certifications, experience and performance in the role
• This position offers a 5% Annual Company Based Bonus
