PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Supply Chain Management Digital Execution Manager (DEM) plays a critical role in leading the digital execution strategy for Procurement and Supply Chain solutions within Worley projects. The DEM works to optimize project delivery by overseeing the implementation of advanced digital tools and systems. This position is responsible for managing and executing the digital strategy, ensuring alignment with customer needs, and supporting the transition to sustainable energy solutions through digital innovation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Lead the digital scope of Supply Chain Management (SCM) within project lifecycles, ensuring systems and data meet project contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, SCM leaders, and other functional directors to ensure business needs are documented and addressed in digital execution plans.
  • Develop and implement the Digital Project Execution Plan (PEP), systems map, and staffing support to meet customer and project requirements.
  • Coordinate the integration of digital tools across SCM processes, including procurement, supplier management, materials tracking, and contract management.
  • Work closely with Worley Digital and Customer Solutions teams to manage software and hardware requirements, addressing any non-standard digital requirements through consultation with subject matter experts (SMEs).
  • Serve as the focal point for data-centric project execution, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality across systems, tools, and workflows.
  • Guide and enforce common standards for multi-office project execution and electronic data interchange, ensuring seamless collaboration between teams.
  • Manage project information needs, including data governance, system access, and digital handovers, ensuring compliance with client intellectual property protection requirements.
  • Engage in the sales process, providing digital solutions to support customer strategies and increase Worley's competitive edge.
  • Provide leadership, training, and support to transition the organization towards a data-centric, digitally enabled project execution approach.

  • At least 15 years of experience in delivering digital solutions within the oil, gas, or mining industries, with strong expertise in Supply Chain Management (SCM) systems.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams, delivering complex digital projects, and meeting organizational objectives.
  • Expertise in systems architecture and the implementation of scalable, high-performance digital solutions that meet business and technical needs.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, manage customer relationships, and drive consensus across diverse teams.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing SCM systems such as ERP, CRM, supplier management platforms, and data portals, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage the lifecycle of project delivery systems, from inception to deployment, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Knowledge of digital governance, data security, and intellectual property protection, ensuring project compliance with customer and legal requirements.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for project needs and customer site visits.
  • Experience in building and managing high-performing, results-driven teams that can adapt to the evolving demands of the energy and resources sectors.
