Location This position will be located in Covington, LA Responsibilities * Analyze collected data to monitor production and modify as necessary to achieve maximum production * Provide training and oversight of Field Engineers 2 & 3 * Provide dredge with accurate surveys and vessel positioning to ensure accurate production measurements and correct location of channel, as per contract * Provide hydrographic surveys required for project monitoring and payment quantities * Responsible for the care of and timely shipments of repair of all hydro survey equipment * Maintain accurate documentation of survey activities * Coordinate survey activities with the Project Engineer to meet schedule requirements * Provide daily support of dredge procurement requirements * Assist in the generation of daily reports and assembly and maintenance of proper job records * Provide support in the maintenance of vehicle and equipment assigned to project * Ensures compliance of company policies #LI-LS3 Qualifications * 3+ years of technical engineer/land surveying experience preferred with ideally 6+ months dredging production monitoring and analyzing experience * Thorough knowledge and ability to use all surveying equipment and techniques * Ability to accurately read contract drawings * Ability to conduct earthwork volume computations * Proficient skills in standard office software packages * Supervisory experience preferred * Ability to work 84-hour work week. 19 days on, 9 days off, revised as necessary * Ability to live aboard vessel for full rotation * Willingness and ability to travel required * This position requires fluent use of the verbal and written English language #LI-LS3 Other Requirements: Regular, reliable attendance Work productively and meet deadlines timely Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.
