Interventional Materials Handler, Full Time, Evening Shift
POSITION SUMMARY:
Builds complete and accurate case carts for surgical procedures. Assists in maintaining adequate inventory supplies. Runs OR schedule co-ordination for the next day. Functions as a resource person for OR staff in regards to sterile supplies.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
EXPERIENCE:
Hospital experience required. Related experience preferred. Completion of on-the-job training required.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Must have good hand-eye coordination, basic computer skills required, effective communication skills to read, write, speak and understand English as required and good customer relation skills. Ability to work within time schedules. Ability to use effective time management to set priorities, perform job related responsibilities, and respond quickly to emergent situations. Ability to use effective, analytical and problem solving skills. Attentive to details and the ability to perform work accurately, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.
