Clinical Program Leader Jefferson Moss-Magee

The Clinical Program Leader is responsible for setting the standard of patient care for a distinct population or program by ensuring implementation of the most current evidenced based practices. In this role the Clinical Program Leader is responsible for educating and supporting staff in the care for patients included in the program/service. The clinical program leader also functions as an advanced clinician in the area related to their program.

Essential Functions Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson. Provide therapy evaluations, treatment planning, treatment interventions and discharge planning in acute care, skilled facility, acute rehab, outpatient settings as appropriate. Works with Sr leadership/Manager to implement and coordinate clinical program/s that support advanced clinical practice and/or therapist development. Typically, the program encompasses multiple sites, settings or disciplines. Responsible for ongoing PI within their program, assures care aligns with accreditation standards, if applicable, provides staff in the program with ongoing feedback regarding clinical care and performance, develops staff through formal education, orientation and mentorship Works with Sr Leader/Manager to support ongoing growth and development of program; Engages other stakeholders, assignment of appropriate staff, oversee clinical guidelines, outcome tools and program assessment. Participates in Quality Improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for non-clinical process improvements and makes recommendations to better meet the needs of patients. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education: SLP: Masterrsquo;s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required. OT: Bachelorrsquo;s, Masterrsquo;s or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program. PT: Bachelorrsquo;s, Masterrsquo;s, or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program. AND Experience: Minimum of 8 Years clinical experience with 5 years in program area. At least one-year experience with clinical leadership/managing a clinical program.

Minimum Certifications, Registration or License Requirements: Specialty Certification Preferred

SLP: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required. State License required. BLS,CPR Certification required via AHA. OT: Valid state license in Occupational Therapy. Valid certification from the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) is required. CPR certification required. PT: Valid state license in Physical Therapy. CPR certification required.

Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI finger print based federal criminal records check. The selected candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three (3) are completed satisfactorily.

Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jeffersonrsquo;s clinical entities or at the University. If you are not currently vaccinated you will be required to receive the vaccination prior to hire date if you are offered employment, unless you request and receive an approved medical or religious exemption from Jefferson.
