Summary: The Medication Administration Training Program Administrative Specialist will perform a wide variety of administrative, clerical, customer service, and receptionist duties in support of the Medication Administration Training Program. The individual in this role will support our instructors by providing materials used in Medication Administration classes. This individual will also support our students by answering questions, researching and testing system output, and providing information and documentation about the curriculum. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills & Abilities: Excellent technology skills. Strong written and communication skills. Excellent interpersonal communication skills with an emphasis on excellent customer service to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in diverse communities. Is driven to reach the goals established by a program(s). Displays enthusiasm for the program and can actively engage others in it. Ability to:


  • Gather, handle, track, and monitor data.


  • Compile information and prepare reports.


  • Maintain accurate records and databases.


  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.


  • Organize resources and establish priorities.


  • Analyze and solve problems.


  • Create, compose, and edit written materials.


Preferred:


Bachelor's degree. 3 years of experience in computer Helpdesk support, medication administration or in a medical or dental environment. Experience with the Medication Administration Training program. Experience using Learning Management Systems


This is a grant funded position.

This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
