We are searching for a talented Insurance Management Specialist

This is a fully remote position.

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.



Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the VP, Risk Management, perform a wide variety of duties associated with the responsibility of developing, implementing and maintaining a comprehensive system-wide Insurance and non-clinical Risk Management program which addresses risk identification and analysis, risk transfer and risk financing, loss prevention and claims management and legal contract review. Responsible for the placement and administration of all property/casualty, liability and related insurance coverage for the System.


Qualifications

  • A Bachelors Degree in business, finance or a related field required or combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • Certification in Risk Management or Insurance designations (ARM, CPCU) preferred.
  • Must have a comprehensive knowledge and experience in insurance lines and risk analysis techniques and solutions, including creative risk transfer/risk financing options.
  • Very good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and financial analysis skills.
  • Insurance experience with a large, complex healthcare facility preferred; experience with off shore captive companies strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of five to seven years experience in the insurance industry or in an insurance administration capacity required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.



Pay Range
