We are searching for an Emergency RN for the Behavioral Unit. This position is primarily for our Behavioral Health Unit, RN will float out into the main emergency department based on the needs of the unit. *UP TO $15,000 NEW HIRE SIGN ON BONUS!* Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA Hours: 36hrs Shift: DAY/EVE, 7:00am - 7:30pm with weekend & holiday rotations Looking for:
One (1) year of ED or behavioral health RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities Under direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee of individual assigned unit, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served. Qualifications This position is primarily for our Behavioral Health Unit, RN will float out into the main department based on the needs of the unit. One (1) year of ED or behavioral health RN experience preferred. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required. Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. ACLS/PALS and Safety certification required within 6 months of hire Pay Range USD $38.81 - USD $67.58 /Hr. |
