Responsibilities

Under direction of Design and Construction leadership, the Senior Interior Designer is responsible for overseeing the design standards for Southcoast Health. Senior Interior Designer will provide leadership within the project team, including the ability to direct and evaluate design options based on client-driven criteria. Must possess excellent presentation skills and have the ability to manage multiple projects.


Qualifications

  • A Bachelors Degree in Interior Design.
  • Knowledge of healthcare codes and regulations.
  • Knowledge of the coordination of work of other disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, lighting, etc.
  • Proficiency in ACAD, Revit, Enscape, Word and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Must possess the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, coordinate with facilities/planning departments, and strong client presentation and management skills.
  • A minimum of six years of healthcare specific interior design and a minimum of ten years of professional design development experience.
  • Certificate of passage of NCIDQ examination preferred.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
