We are searching for an RN for a Med/Surg Dept.

Location: Tobey Hospital - Wareham, MA

Hours: 32hrs, Part Time with Benefits

Shift: NIGHT, 11:15pm - 7:15am with weekend and holiday rotation

Looking for:

    Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
  • Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

SK3 is a 21 bed surgical unit specializing in the care of post-operative patients. The patient population includes patients undergoing Bariatric surgery, Orthopedic surgery, General surgery, Gyn surgery, and Plastic surgery. SK3 prides itself in providing excellent patient care using a multidisciplinary approach. We also provide Telemetry monitoring.

  • $9,600 New Hire Sign On with 3+ years of RN experience
  • $8,000 New Hire Sign On with 1-3 years of RN experience
  • $6,000 New Hire Sign On with less than 1 year of RN experience
  • Rehires termed greater than 1 year are eligible

Responsibilities

Under direction of the Manager, Patient Services or Designee of individual assigned unit, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patient regularly, served.



Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
  • Over three months up to and including one year experience is preferred.
  • Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
