This hybrid role can be based out of our Lake Worth, FL, Waltham, MA or New London, CT office. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role.

Are you ready for the next step in your career? We're looking for a Java Software Developer to work on the development of a key part of our Data Manager system as we create a new Business Intelligence (BI) tool. This tool will serve as a unified source of truth for analytics across Buyers Edge Platform, helping the team better meet the BI needs of both internal and external stakeholders by providing critical data.

Your impact:



  • Work closely with the development team and stakeholders to design and implement new software features.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the business and our data to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
  • Design and build scalable solutions to support the growing needs of the organization.
  • Work with stakeholders and product owners to understand and define requirements and business needs.
  • Develop high quality code that adheres to best practices in design, proper testing, and good documentation.
  • Fulfill stakeholders' needs and ensure they are satisfied with the end result.
  • Other related duties as assigned.


About you:



  • BA/BS in computer science, other related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience developing in an object-oriented language
  • Fluent with Java as a programming language
  • 3-5 years of experience working with relational databases (MySQL preferred, PostgreSQL a plus)
  • Strong experience with Java 8+
  • Good understanding of agile development (SCRUM a plus)
  • Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Experience writing and working with RESTful API architecture
  • Preferred: Experience with JIRA/Confluence
  • Experience with data engineering a plus
  • Experience with AWS, Redshift, JPA, and Git a plus
  • Some experience with React a plus
