Assists in daily workflow and procedures in the department of Radiology. This includes escorting and assisting families and patients; set up and cleanup of rooms; supply stocking, organization and other duties that enhance patient and exam flow. This role may provide additional support by answering phones, scheduling, registering, and greeting patients and families. Additional Information

EDUCATION - High School Diploma or equivalent Responsibilities
POPULATION SPECIFIC CARE a.) Neonate - <30 days ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Assists technologists with room and patient preparation for radiologic exams. Assists the technologist and radiologist with all aspects of patient care as needed before, during and after the procedure. Promotes high quality patient care using effective communication that explains the radiologic exam and ensures patient comfort and safety. Communicates with other departments and nursing staff to ensure exam coordination and safety. Maintains patient medical records by importing/uploading outside images and processing outside imaging requests. May provide direct patient care by transporting patients throughout the facility and remaining with patients while waiting in exam rooms. Cleans work areas, stock supplies and rounds throughout the department. May serve as additional safety team member in MRI after completing required Level 1 training. Provides and obtains signatures for the appropriate treatment consents forms from patients/families. Provides patient support services which may include scheduling, registration, patient reception, patient check in/out and follow-up visit support. Obtains and documents patient and legal guardian demographic information. Performs data entry functions, including entering patient demographic information and patient updates in a medical records system. Other Information

Communications: Contacts with team members, clients or the public where factual information relative to the organization or its functions are received, relayed, or a service rendered according to established procedures or instructions. Supervision Received: Performs work with minimal supervisory oversight. Under general supervision, the employee receives assignments and is expected to carry them through to completion with substantial independence. Work is reviewed for adherence to instructions, accuracy, completeness, and conformance to standard practice or precedent. Recurring work clearly covered by guidelines may or may not be reviewed. Salary Information Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $30,058.79 to $45,088.19Hourly Salary Range: $14.45 to $21.68 Benefits Information As a Children's Hospital Colorado team member, you will receive a competitive pay and benefits package designed to take care of your needs that includes base pay, incentives, paid sick leave and a robust wellness program.
