Primary Purpose of Department	The Office of OneIT provides highly reliable information technology infrastructure, tools and services to empower the University to achieve its academic, research, administrative and service goals.
Primary Purpose of Position	This position provides CCI with a comprehensive set of technical support services including management and security of the college server and storage infrastructure.
Summary of Position Responsibilities	Design, implement, configure, manage, and monitor server and storage infrastructure for CCI research and teaching. Investigate, recommend, implement, and enhance hardware and software technologies used by College research teams. Identify and implement processes and procedures to improve performance and automate tasks. Manage cloud-based services as needed for research and teaching projects. Assist with the creation and periodic testing of CCI disaster recovery processes and procedures. Acts as a technical liaison with OneIT Infrastructure teams
Minimum Education/Experience	Bachelor's degree and Three years of system administration experience.
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience	Expertise in multiple Linux OS environments including Ubuntu, RHEL, and CentOS. Expertise in Windows server environments.
