Valiant is looking for a PTOC Medical Provider to join our team! In this role you are responsible for providing medical support for DTRA Special Operations Forces (SOF) Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Advanced Course and other relevant DTRA programs. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide provider level interface for DTRA Special Operations Forces (SOF) Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Advanced Course and other relevant DTRA programs.
- Activities include but are not limited to training event medical provider facilitation, assisting in medical curricula design, training design and development; training plan construction; Program of Instruction (POI) construction; oversite and facilitation of prescription medication ordering and inventory; performing training assessments; and conducting an After-Action Review.
- Provide realistic, current, and relevant CWMD medical provider training support to address US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Geographic Combatant Commands (GCC), and Theatre Special Operations Commands' (TSOC) requirements. Audience includes but is not limited to US Special Operations Forces (SOF), DOD Surgical Resuscitation Teams, Chemical/Biological/Radiological/Nuclear units, and Explosive Ordnance Disposal units in order to facilitate their CMWD mission.
- Maintain close coordination with units and organizations on medical training requirements and objectives throughout the pre training timeline from GCCs to tactical units to maintain continuity.
- Provide Medical Provider target support to address Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Explosive, and Drug threats to meet the training needs of the participating units.
- Provide on-going credentialing and training oversite for medical personnel assigned in support of DTRA training and exercise support.
- Attend planning meetings and site surveys and assist with medical scenario development.
- Build, store, and maintain necessary CWMD equipment and training aids to provide realistic, current, and relevant scenarios to meet specific needs of the participating units.
- Collect and compile pertinent medical data into comprehensive yet concise reports for review by DTRA, USSOCOM, GCC, TSOC, interagency, and partner nation clients as required.
- Managing and accomplishing medical related analytical research and development for special programs, including those related to CBRNE and Special Operations Forces.
- Accomplish post-event activities as required, including trip reports, hot washes, after action reports, and formal out briefs.
- Position is Part Time On-Call.

- Must have experience in training event design, coordination, and execution at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels.
- Must be able to obtain a US Passport.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
- Applicant must possess a current Top Secret/SCI security investigation and/or must meet eligibility requirements. Employment contingent on issuance of Top Secret/SCI clearance.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Position requires a candidate education, experience and Board Licensure as a Physician or Nurse Practitioner.
- Emphasis in Emergency Medicine, Toxicology, Occupational Health or similar disciplines will be given higher consideration.
- Experience preferred in developing, planning, and participating in US Department of Defense CBRNE and Special Operations medical training events or exercises.
- Knowledge in performing training capability or training needs assessments desired.
- Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of tools required. Emphasis placed on PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Visio.
