Are you ready to work as a Manufacturing Engineering Technician at Donaldson Company!

  • Opportunity on 2nd shift M-F 2:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Work independently under limited supervision (self management)
  • Oversee installation and verification of equipment upgrades
  • Assist maintenance/production with breakdowns
  • Testing, Operations and Non-Standard Order (NSO) support
  • Data collection to support root cause analysis
  • Communication to Engineering Team, Team Leaders and Operators
  • Work directly with outside contractors on assigned projects
  • Documentation of all finding/work performed for clean handoff shift-to-shift
  • Perform Housekeeping to Clean and Inspection
  • Uses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.

Qualifications:

  • A combination of education and experience, generally acquired through the attainment of a high school diploma, or equivalent plus a minimum of two years of trade school or qualified work experience.
  • Repair and troubleshoot from schematics and component part's manuals
  • Perform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast paced work environment.
  • Interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees.
  • Work in a team environment toward a common goal.
  • React to changes productively and to handle other tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain a pattern of regular and predictable attendance.
  • 3 years of Manufacturing Operator Experience
  • Experience with Basic Electrical / Mechanical / Pneumatic / Hydraulic Systems
  • Experience with Labelers / Printers / PLC's / VFD's / Servo's in troubleshooting

Helpful Experience:

  • Lean / Six Sigma Training
  • Operations and/or Quality Control Experience
