Laron is looking for an Account Manager to join our team in Kingman, Arizona!
As an Account Manager, you will manage all aspects of outside sales, including reporting and building strong relationships with key customers. You will collaborate with departments like Maintenance, Engineering, and Purchasing to promote a wide range of products, including Bearings, Power Transmission, Motors, Drives, Fluid Power, Automation, Safety, Robotics, Electrical, and Engineering Services. Your role includes setting goals, generating revenue, expanding the sales base, and providing tailored solutions to clients. You'll work closely with OTC Product specialists, inside sales teams, and factory reps to drive growth and perform sales activities, product demos, and market development to increase market share.
What You'll Do:


  • Manages all aspects of outside sales and maintain and submit activity reporting.
  • Develops and maintains business relationships with key customers.
  • Works with Maintenance, Engineering, facilities and Purchasing departments to effectively promote our full offering of Bearings, Power Transmission, Motors, Drives, Fluid Power, Automation, Safety, Robotics, Electrical and Engineering Services.
  • Possesses superior interpersonal communication skills.
  • Forms long-term personal relationships with customers, including at the executive level of the location's top customer.
  • Set goals and objectives, generating revenue through market development, forecasting, lead generation, qualification, and closing sales.
  • Expand sales base through consistent performance, building rapport with existing and potential clients; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing proposals and quotations. Provide solutions and become a reliable resource for your customer base.
  • Collaborate with other OTC Product Specialist, the Inside Sales teams and System Engineers to exchange information and identify opportunities, qualify accounts to expand product sales.
  • Work and collaborate with factory representatives to grow revenue of our distributed product lines.
  • Perform sales calls, product demonstrations, and other developmental activities to increase market share of preferred channel partners is essential.
  • Other duties may be assigned.


What You'll Need:


  • College degree or 4+ years selling/marketing technical products to industrial markets preferred.
  • Ability to solve customer problems using technical skills.
  • Proven sales skills with consistent year-over-year growth.
  • Identify market potential, qualify accounts, and provide technical support across product lines (Pumps, Electrical, Safety, Bearings, Power Transmission, Motors, Pneumatics, and engineering services), with a focus on expanding Pump and Motor repair services, while collaborating with teams to grow market share.
  • Support at least two product lines technically.
  • Strong team player with customer service and other divisions.
  • Ability to read manuals, catalogs, blueprints, and communicate technical info.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must work in industrial/manufacturing environments daily.
