Description: NSI requires a Journeyman Configuration Management Analyst to support a potential upcoming contract with PMA 280 Program Office. The Journeyman Configuration Management Analyst will possess a Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Certification: DAWIA Level II in Program Management. Experience with SharePoint development and management. This includes creating, configuring, and customizing SharePoint websites, managing site permissions, and integrating with other services. Microsoft Power Suite: Experience with Microsoft Power Suite, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow), is desired. The Data Manager is desired to be adept at creating interactive data visualizations with Power BI, developing custom business apps with Power Apps, and automating workflows between applications and services with Power Automate. Complementary skills/attributes that would be advantageous include proficiency in data analysis, with the ability to extract meaningful insights from large and complex data sets. Effective project management skills, including planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives. It is desired that the candidate possesses a deep understanding of the DoD acquisition process, its regulations, and procedures as well as familiarity with security protocols and procedures in data handling, particularly within Government agencies. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, coordinate with various stakeholders, and possess the ability to manage external relationships effectively. It is desired to be able to think and speak clearly, present ideas effectively, and negotiate with people at all levels. It is desired to demonstrate ingenuity when unconventional problems arise, and familiarity with the latest DoD, DoN, and other relevant instructions and directives related to acquisition and weapons systems data management. In summary, this role is multifaceted, desires technical knowledge in records and data management, proficiency in specific software tools, and problem-solving abilities.
Location: Lexington Park, MD Education: BA/BS Degree. Experience: 3 to 10 years of experience collecting, organizing and interpreting data relating to weapons product programs. Maintains configuration control of acquisition products and data. Tracks configuration changes. Coordinates and supports development of ECP. Applies Government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management. Security Clearance: Secret Clearance is required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
