JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Provides administrative support for the Division of Student Affairs with primary duties to the Office of Student Accountability and Conflict Response. The job is part time at a maximum of 24 hours per week for approximately 42 weeks during the Academic Year (August - May) with Summer off.

Job Duties
  • Responsible for calendar management, setting of appointments, file and resource maintenance, and recording/reconciling of office budgets including the SAP system.

  • Responsible for entering, tracking, case processes, and updating student files in the Penn State/Maxient conduct software system.

  • Communicates with students, area landlords, campus partners, and local law enforcement on a regular basis.

  • Responsible for office processes such as clearance and transfer requests, FERPA waivers, travel logistics, collaborating with campus partners, and working with third-party vendors for ordering educational materials.

  • Schedules student meetings, as well as coordinates meetings for group presentations, and Student Affairs departments.

  • Assists area directors and offices with special projects work, educational outreach, and programming.

  • Provides support to other offices within the office suite.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, LionPath, SIMBA, SAP, PowerPoint, Photoshop, or comparable software for creating presentations is preferred.

  • Candidate must possess exemplary interpersonal, communication, organizational and customer service skills, along with a strong commitment to diversity and serving students.

  • Must possess a high level of confidentiality.

  • Candidate must be able to manage multiple priorities and learn/adapt to new technologies quickly.

  • Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
