What you'll do:

  • Design and Train Machine Learning Models: Develop and optimize AI models using communications data and customer interaction datasets. Apply fundamental machine learning concepts to build, iterate, and debug models, and explore innovative techniques to address complex problems
  • Data Collection, Processing, and Analysis: Collaborate closely with senior data scientists to collect, process, and analyze data. Execute well-defined experiments, perform feature engineering, and gain insights from large-scale datasets to enhance model performance.
  • Debug and Analyze Models: Investigate and troubleshoot model issues to ensure accuracy and reliability. Propose and implement solutions to address and resolve any challenges encountered in model development and deployment
  • Contribute to a World-Class AI Team: Be an integral part of building a leading AI team in the communications industry. Work with cutting-edge AI technologies and apply your expertise to unique datasets, previously unexplored for predictive modeling. Explore and implement the latest advancements from academic research and industry best practices
  • Stay Current with Machine Learning Research: Read and interpret the latest machine learning research publications. Engage with internal data science teams to discuss findings, generate new ideas, and experiment with novel approaches using large datasets

What background you should have:

Minimum:

  • Master's Degree in a quantitative field or relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in predictive modeling and data analysis
  • Experience working with large complex datasets using spark.
  • Strong background in python language (and R, C/C++)
  • Experience in Databricks platform
  • Experience in LLMs
  • Deep understanding of a modern machine learning framework (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit learn)
  • Deep understanding of statistical methods

Preferred:

  • PhD in Computer Science (Data Science, Machine Learning, AI)
  • Exposure to industry or academic research (peer review publications)
  • Experience in cloud computing technologies (GCP, AWS)
  • Experience in deploying ML (LLMs) models to production environments
  • Working knowledge of computer networking
