SVP Product, Ad Effectiveness

Dynata has an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to join as the Senior Vice President of Product leading the Ad Effectiveness & Connected Data team. Reporting to the EVP of Product, this position is responsible for driving the product strategy & positioning for the Ad Effectiveness and Connected Data capabilities. The successful candidate will have demonstrated excellence in Product Management and Strategic thinking and must have strong commercial, communication and technical skills in addition to being adept at solution innovation and understanding of our customer base and wider industry.

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Own & define the product strategy for the Ad Effectiveness and Connected Data products in terms of ensuring effective positioning of the right capabilities, in the relevant geographies, to specific customer types.
  • Build a world class product function for Ad Effectiveness and Connected Data capabilities
  • In collaboration with the marketing team own the communication of the product strategy.
  • Own the product lifecycle including roadmap for the strategy of the product capabilities to support the overall commercial strategy.
  • Drive understanding appropriate levels feasibility requirements for products in partnership with sales.
  • Drive consent and PII strategy, in particular for consent outside of the US for legal purposes
  • In collaboration with sales leads own business cases, competitive benchmarking, opportunity sizing & user group/advisory board management
  • Own pricing & PLI's for products in collaboration with finance, support product target creation with finance.
  • Lead effective glide path strategy for moving key product capabilities into our new platform infrastructure, Own the tech relationship for the business
  • Drive product innovation and own how new technical capabilities including AI can be used within products
  • Align with marketing on external positioning of the product capabilities, create compelling reasons for why customer should want to use our new capabilities
  • With the Design and Customer experience leads harmonize and drive new simplified product onboarding.
  • Build strong partnership with sales leaders; consult and support the needs of the sales teams, ensure strong partnership with sales enablement
  • Work closely with partner lead on both inbound & outbound opportunities, have M&A pipe
  • Support rollout of product telemetry tools to drive greater business insights. Track and measure performance and product ROI.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Superior strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen
  • Strong experience of US market, having spent time working in the region
  • Excellent executive presence
  • Strong expertise and workflow understanding of the advertising and media industry
  • Demonstrated expertise in product management, creating effective customer centric solutions
  • Good experience of Data solution capabilities and technology
  • Understanding of relevant legal regulations for Data
  • Very strong communication and leadership skills
  • Very comfortable at being a single contributor as well as managing direct teams and virtual teams.
  • Adept at building competitive benchmarking and product positioning materials.

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in product management, project management and customer engagement
  • Experience of the market research industry in particular with domain understanding of the advertising & media industry
  • Experience of managing complex products & business lines
  • Experience cloud capabilities and new and emerging technologies
  • Experience of managing cross business projects & products.

The salary range for this position in is $225K-$250K/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A discretionary incentive program may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and other benefits, dependent on full-time employment status
