In close partnership with the functional/business leaders, the Procure to Pay (P2P) Global Process Owner (GPO) creates and executes the vision, roadmap, and governance for effective and efficient end-to-end service delivery. The GPO is empowered to make decisions related to strategy, policy, process design, and/or service delivery; and ensures all practices and processes support not only the business requirements, but also the long-term business objectives. The GPO is part of the Global Business Services NLT. Global Team of 6:
- Direct reports (3) - PR/PO SME, Goods Receipts SME, Global Payables SME; (1) EU Payables SME reports to Global Payables SME
- Dotted-line reports (2) - AP & Brazil Payables SME
Reports to: Global Business Services Director
Optimize Operations
- Govern the overall end to end process work streams - ensuring the processes are standardized globally and change is managed following a structured governance model.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements to drive standardization, scalability and elimination, outsourcing or automation of processes.
- Implement change management carefully following a structured governance model.
- Enhance customer experience - make process easy for stakeholders (vendors, end-users).
- Drive commitment while reducing redundancies - effective and efficient service delivery.
- Identify success metrics and continuously monitor process health.
- Identify and coordinate process improvement activities at every level and stage of the E2E process.
- Stay current on emerging trends in P2P space and benchmark against current state internally.
- Provide oversite to ensure resources are properly trained across E2E process.
Technology
- Identify technology roadmap and assist in integration.
- Drives global deployment and inspires adoption of a standard E2E process with regional and local requirements customized only when necessary.
Stakeholder Relations and Management
- Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders within the OC functions and businesses for purposes of driving change and ensuring compliance.
- Provides regular communication and updates to stakeholders.
- Understand the stakeholder's requirements to continue to drive value through service offerings and performance.
- Solicit process change recommendations from stakeholders, assess business benefits and priorities that will drive business value within OC, examine alternatives, recommend a forward strategy, and execute on the strategy.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education requirements: Bachelors of Scienceis required.
- 7-10 years of progressively responsible finance or accounting experience with a leadership component.
- Global business experience preferred.
- Preferred 5-7 years of SAP experience.

- Work stream process knowledge and experience: In depth process knowledge, best practice, and industry knowledge as well as application.
- Leadership: Proven track record of influencing leaders and leading toward a shared goal and vision.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage stakeholders globally with multiple time zones and diverse cultures.
- Judgment and Decision Making: Recognizes issues, problems, or opportunities and determines whether action is needed. Chooses appropriate action by formulating clear decision criteria and evaluates options by considering implications and consequences.
- Project Management - Ability to organize and plan complex projects by identifying critical tasks, required resources, and driving to completion.
- Continuous Improvement Knowledge: Demonstrates ability to recognize waste and drives waste elimination efforts.
- Change Management: Demonstration of preparing, equipping and supporting individuals to successfully adopt change to drive organization outcomes and success.
