Your Job

Phillips-Medisize, a Molex Company, is seeking a Metrology Specialist to join our team at our facility in Hudson, WI. This role will provide direct programming and support for the operations along with providing information needed to verify that tooling and parts meet and exceed our customer requirements.

Shift Options: 2nd Shift, M-F, 3pm - 11pm OR 12 Hour Weekends, F-Sun

What You Will Do

  • Write the necessary programs in Calypso to be able to interpret the data from the point cloud.
  • Setup and operate CT Scanner to provide metrology services to all Phillips-Medisize sites as needed.
  • Organize and complete First Article layouts and Capability Studies
  • Maintain laboratory systems, procedures, and policies to meet or exceed customer requirements
  • May perform color studies, submission packages, geometric design and tolerance
  • Perform MSA analysis and provide interpretation to engineering
  • Verify compliance to engineering specifications
  • Compile necessary data and paperwork to create and submit metrology reports to internal and external customers.
  • File all necessary certifications, reports, etc
  • May provide guidance to Engineers or other Staff related to metrology capabilities
  • Select, program and operate all measurement systems; able to run all software
  • Identifies the appropriate measurement method
  • Application of CAD data for concurrent engineering to speed up the FAI process

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • 3+ years experience programming Calypso
  • 5+ years metrology related experience

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Degree in Precision Measurement, Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years quality related experience
  • ASQ certification or equivalent experience (CMI)
  • Minitab and SAP experience
