Financial Analyst/Accountant I

SUMMARY
The primary responsibilities are to assist the Credit Manager with maintenance of a customer database in the company's ERP system. Monitor accounts receivable balances and compliance with monthly and quarterly analysis and reporting requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Responsible for assisting with daily customer maintenance which includes new customer setup in Oracle, updating existing customer information such as contact, address, payment terms, tax ID information and customer deactivation.

Perform preliminary research for OFAC restrictions and sanctions for customers around the globe.

Perform bad debt reserve calculations and generate related reports for distribution to operational personnel for proper collection procedures.

Assist in complying with external and internal auditor requests related to accounts receivable processes and procedures.

Assist with the review, recording, and maintenance of various types of lease contracts and lease records by using a lease management software.

Assist the Consolidation department reviewing monthly Senior Management books (COO, OPS, CODM), monthly flash reports, Oracle to Hyperion/CCH tie out, and Hyperion financial dashboard

Assist the Credit and Consolidation department in various other tasks and projects as needed

Some overtime required at peak times.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting required.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and any ERP system.
Experience in the oilfield services industry is a plus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Strong technical, organizational and communication skills required.
Ability to deal with unforeseen situations in a professional manner.
