Position Overview:

The Payroll Advisor - International is a technical and functional subject matter expert for the International Payroll team. This role researches, recommends, and implements processes, documentation, and best practices which impact the entire organization. The Payroll Advisor - International demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for problem solving and obtaining solutions.

Essential Duties- include but are not limited to the following:

  • Complete complex payroll reconciliation across different sources and identify reconciliation errors.
  • Document international payroll processes and procedures, responsible for continued maintenance of documentation.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams to enhance processes and complete projects.
  • Consult on system design and processes for data management. Recommend data and system management best practices and solutions.
  • Proactively research system and technology best practices. Understand internal system integration and make appropriate recommendations to solve business problems.
  • Identify issues requiring resolution, review and interpret authoritative guidance and offer proposed solutions. Implement solution(s) to mitigate future occurrences.
  • Identify technology improvements and enhancements to solve problems. Research and recommend new technologies, process, and systems to improve efficiencies. Lead or oversee implementation of new technologies, process, and systems enhancements as necessary.
  • Subject matter expert of functional processes and systems. Stays current with company and team initiatives and enhancements.
  • Assist with the processing of payroll and duties prior to and post payroll processing.
  • Assist with payroll reporting.
  • Assist with International audits.
  • Assist and mentor team members.
  • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
  • Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to work designated schedule.
  • Ability to work nights and/or weekends, as needed
  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in business administration or related field; or high school degree/general education diploma and 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • 8+ years of experience working in a Payroll role or similar function, advancing in duties and responsibilities.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with outside of the US payroll processing.
  • Experience in managing large scale cross functional initiatives.

Salary Range:

$85,000.00 - $135,000.00

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
